perth HQ

After reading a whole bunch of posts about petitions and letters and how up in arms people are... i think it is important to keep a clear head about the issue at hand...

What steve (miles away) said about expansion of the venue, writing constructive letters to YMCA or the local council and using constructive, intelligent language are going to be far more effective.

We had the pit in midland, we had amplifier in perth, we have hq in leederville... we will find somewhere to hold AA shows.

Knowing that there are people like Todd (Artax), Adam & Davey (Annihillate) Rabbit, Steve, and Sim (Elevator) in perth that have the knowledge, skills, contacts and "scene smarts" I am sure that the state of AA shows in Perth will be ok.

What I would suggest to people is to keep your passion for your state, music and friends strong and support the efforts of those people who are at a better advantage to make productive strategies for an AA venue be it HQ or somewhere better!

Stu... the fact that you took the effort to start a petition is fatastic and should be congratulated... use your passion and intelligent vocabulary and for now put pen to paper...

for everyone else... keep up your support and keep your passion strong...

for when the time comes...i am positive that perth music lovers of all genres will join together in a force of numbers in celebration for AA shows and live original music... respectfully!!

cheers
freeds
